PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a coolant compressor with high reliability in which copper plating is hardly generated on a slide part. SOLUTION: When a circulation amount of oil 103 delivered from the inside of a compression chamber 116 to a refrigeration cycle (not shown) with a compression coolant is made to A (cm<SP>3</SP>/h) and an amount of leak current leaked from an electric element 106 to a hermetic vessel 101 is made to B (mA), it is defined so as to satisfy a relationship of (A-0.5)/(0.01×B)≤-1.3.
