PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a vibration load imposed on a screed man which is boarding a step of an asphalt finisher. SOLUTION: The step 20 is provided to a support member of a frame through the medium of a shock-absorbing device, and the frame has a base plate which applies vibration to a plied timber and pushes it which is provided to a screed. The shock-absorbing device has a rubber damper 56, a spring 58, and compression means 59, 62 of the spring. The spring has been compressed by a compression means by the length bent by the weight of the step and the weight of the screed man. In a state where the spring has been compressed in advance, there is no or small compression bending in the rubber damper of the asphalt finisher so that the damping force of the rubber damper is acted in the vibration process above the step.
