PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spraying construction method for forming a water cut-off layer having sufficiently high density even if a water cut-off material having comparatively high percentage of water content is used as a spraying material. SOLUTION: This spraying construction method is employed to form the water cut-off layer formed by the material containing a solid matter having bentonite as a main component by spraying the material. This method comprises a material preparing process for preparing the water cut-off material by mixing the solid matter with water, a granulating process for granulating and forming an aggregate substance from the water cut-off material, a transfer process for transferring the aggregate substance in a hose by pressure of compressed gas after introducing the aggregate substance into the hose, and a spraying process for spraying the aggregate substance through a nozzle provided at a tip of the hose.
