PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking/unlocking device of a door with a latch device in furniture capable of the restraint and the release of the restraint of the rotation of a latch rod by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The rear part of an operation means 6 extends to the rear surface sides of doors 3, 3', and is connected to a slide member 17. The latch rod 8 is disposed at the side of the slide member 17, and has first and second rotating pieces 14, 29. In the unlocking operation with a key 28, when the slide member 17 is moved forward when the operation means 6 is moved forward, and brought into contact with a first rotating piece 14, and a second rotating piece 29 is fitted into an opening 26 formed in the rear surfaces of the doors 3, 3', the rotation of the latch rod 8 is allowed, and the latch device 7 can be operated. In the locking operation with the key 28, the opening 26 is closed to prevent the second rotating piece 29 from being fitted into the opening 26, and the rotation of the latch rod 28 is restrained.
