PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of chips generated when machining a workpiece, and to prevent the generation of a failure caused by the chips. SOLUTION: This chip removing device is provided with a router unit 13 for machining a prescribed position of a PCB (printed circuit board) 11 to be the workpiece, a nozzle for spraying gas to a machining position in relation to the PCB 11 in the router unit 13, and a hollow chip moving pipe 15 arranged in the vicinity of the machining position and on an opposite side of the router unit 13 across the PCB 11 to transfer the chip generated by the machining of the router unit 13.
