The present invention relates to a standard calibration set comprising at least three calibration standards that consist of a molded article made of a thermoplastic polymer which contains the elements Cd, Cr, Pb, Hg and Br, with the Cr:Pb:Hg:Br:Cd ratio being different in each of the three calibration standards, and to a method for manufacturing said calibration standards and their use in X-ray fluorescence analysis.
