Steel billet and preblock profile extrusion unit, perferably with rectangular extrusion cross-section, where the peripheral line of the mold hollow space cross-section has curved fillets (sic) in the corners and the molten steel can be fed vertically into the mold hollow space. The rounding off of the curved fillets is preferably 20% or more of the extrusion cross-section side length, and in the extrusion direction, the degree of curvature 1/R of the curved fillets is decreased. |
