A radioactive ray shielding material is provided to prevent an oil leakage by sealing a neutron shielding layer between radiopaque polyolefin resin layers. A radioactive ray shielding material includes a first radiopaque resin layer, a neutron shielding layer(2), and a second radiopaque resin layer. The first and second radiopaque resin layers(1) are made of polyolefin resin containing at least one of gadolinium, boron, and lithium with a diameter between 0 and 10 um. The neutron shielding layer is made by forming net-shaped pores by extending a sheet, impregnating and cooling the sheet in melted paraffin, and sealing the sheet between the radiopaque resin layers. |
