An ink-jet image forming device and an ink supply device for the same are provided to supply ink to a print head favorably by opening and closing an ink flow regulating valve with a solenoid valve. An ink-jet image forming device comprises a print head, an ink tank, an ink supply device(100), and a control unit. The ink supply device has an ink outlet(111), a first chamber(112), an ink inlet(113), a second chamber(114), a body(110), an ink flow regulating valve(120), and a solenoid valve(130). The ink outlet is connected to the print head. The first chamber is connected to the ink outlet. The ink inlet is connected to the ink tank. The second chamber is connected to the ink inlet and connected to the first chamber with a connecting channel(115) of the body. The ink flow regulating valve opens and closes the connecting channel of the body. The solenoid valve operates the ink flow regulating valve.
