MANUFACTURE METHOD OF SINGLE PHASE ARAGONITE

A method for preparing single phase aragonite is provided to produce the single phase aragonite having a uniform particle size distribution and a large aspect ratio through control of calcium ions. A method for preparing single phase aragonite includes the steps of: (a) preparing an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution; (2) adding calcium hydroxide powder to the aqueous sodium hydroxide solution to prepare a mixed solution; and (c) injecting an aqueous sodium carbonate solution at a predetermined rate to prepare the single-phase aragonite while stirring the mixed solution. The aqueous sodium hydroxide solution has a concentration of 0.25 to 5 M. Further, a concentration of the aqueous sodium carbonate solution is 0.5 to 3M and an input rate is 100 to 250 ml/minute.
