<p>L-dopa and its derivs are prepd. by microbiological oxidation of cpds. of formula I (where R1=H, acyl or PhCO, R2=H, CO2H, CONH2, CO2 alkyl R3=an acyl N-blocking gp. and R4= H or Me). Preferred microorganisms are Moniliales or Eurotinles and esp. Aspergillus ochraceus, A. quercinus, A.sclerotiorum, Memnoniella echinata, and Tritirachim dependens. Thus incubation of L-N-carbobenzoxy tyrosine with aspergillus ochraceus for 24 h. at 25 degrees, gave L-N-carbobenzoxy-3-4-dihydroxyphenylalanine.</p> |
