A method for standardizing a drawing is provided to standardize the drawing drawn by a plurality of designers by making the designer design the drawing with a CAD(Computer-Aided Design) program including standardization rules/restrictions and storing the designed drawings in a PDM(Product Data Management) server. A designer executes a CAD program installed in a personal terminal(200), and the designer executes a standard API(Application Program Interface) of the CAD program(210). The designer generates a standard format of a drawing by selecting a drawing size/option of the standard API(220). The designer generates a drawing file by inputting a title, a part list, and a note, and making the drawing(240). The designer requests a PDM server to store the drawing file through the network. The PDM server determines whether the drawing file corresponds to a standard drawing(260). The PDM server extracts PDM data/drawing from the drawing file and stores the PDM data/drawing when the drawing file is the standard drawing(270). The designer terminates the standard API and the CAD program after the PDM server stores the PDM data/drawing(290).
