<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficient wiring of a power module whereby its inside circuit and its outside-derived terminals held by its enveloping case are connected, and decrease its size and its thickness, and further, reduce the inductances of its wirings. <P>SOLUTION: In the power module, its output terminals H1-H5 are disposed in the first edge of its enveloping case c, and its control terminals G1-G7 are disposed in the second edge of its enveloping case c which is opposed to the first edge, and further, outside-terminal portions P1, P2 of its anode terminal P and outside-terminal portions N1, N2 of its cathode terminal N are disposed respectively in the residual third and fourth edges of its enveloping case c. Moreover, the portions of the anode terminal P and the cathode terminal N, which are disposed extendedly respectively from the outside-terminal portions P1, N1 present on the third edge and the outside-terminal portions P2, N2 present on the fourth edge to the third edge or the fourth edge and further the second edge, and are coupled to inside-terminal portions P3-P7 and inside-terminal portions N3-N7, are disposed in the form of two layers more approximately to a circuit-mounting-surface side than the control terminals G1-G7 with respect to the sectional view vertical to the circuit mounting surface, while they are insulated from each other via the insulating member of the enveloping case c.
