AIR CONDITIONER WITH ION GENERATING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of allowing even an user not knowing a rule of display on an ion generating state to easily recognize the ion generating state.

SOLUTION: This air conditioner with the ion generating function comprises an ion generating means and a display means. The display means comprises a display area capable of displaying a plurality of positive ion marks and a plurality of negative ion marks while two-dimensionally arranging them with respect to the positive ion marks obtained by making a design of positive ion and the negative ion marks obtained by making a design of negative ion, and changes the number of positive ion marks and negative ion marks displayed on the display area according to a mode of the operation of the ion generating means. The display means displays the positive ion marks and the negative ion marks of the approximately same number when the ion generating means is operated in a positive/negative ion mode, and displays the negative ion marks on the display area and does not display the positive ion marks on the display area when the ion generating means is operated in a negative ion mode.
