PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processing system and a document processor that facilitates confirmation and retrieval of contents associated with stored document data having being processed, and so on. SOLUTION: Document data in raster form having been processed by a multifunction peripheral 2 are supplied to a management server 3 via a network 1, and the management server 3 extracts the character data included in the document data as text data through image recognition processing, and adds at least a portion of the extracted text data to a PDF file storing the document data as property data (the title, subject, comment, etc.) thereof.
