PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which automatically discriminates and extracts a photographic image whose object is a bride with a bridal costume from an input photographic image, and corrects a color tone of the bridal costume in proper color. SOLUTION: The image density correction method selects one image which has bridal photographic image characteristics out of input photographic images as a bridal photographic image, and carries out density correction of the bridal costume of the photographed image determined as a bridal costume photographic image based on a discriminated result whether the bridal costume exists or not so as to be a proper color based on face detection information and color density information in the bridal photographic image.
