PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying type car mat with superior durability against the pressure and wear caused by shoes of an occupant, and various kinds of forces applied thereto during the cleaning or water-washing, flexible, followability to unevenness of a floor surface, and sound absorption. SOLUTION: In the sound absorbing laying type car mat, a permeable skin layer 1 and a sound absorbing layer 2 formed of a non-woven fabric are integrally laminated via an adhesive layer 3 arranged therebetween. The adhesive layer 3 is formed of an adhesive and consists of a plurality of island-like adhesive parts with each part having an area of 0.7-80.0 mm<SP>2</SP>. The total area of the island-like adhesive parts is 10-80% to the unit area of a lamination surface of the permeable skin layer 1 or the sound absorbing layer 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
