PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel allowing reduction of weight and reduction of cost by reducing material loss. SOLUTION: In this bearing device, a hub wheel 1 having a wheel mounting flange 6 at one end part has a brake pilot part 13 extending from a base part of the wheel mounting flange 6 to an outer side to guide an inner diameter surface of a brake rotor, and a wheel pilot part 14 further extending from the brake pilot part 13 to the outer side to guide an inner diameter surface of the wheel. At least the wheel pilot part 14 is constituted of a plurality of divided pilots 15 divided equally in the peripheral direction. Chamfering parts 16 are formed by forging at peripheral direction end parts of the divided pilots 15. Each of the chamfering parts 16 is provided with an inclined angleα≤30°relative to a tangential line direction of a pilot circle P/C after turning, and thereby a process for removing cutting burrs of the divided pilots 15 becomes unnecessary in the turning to reduce cost.
