<p>A broadcast receiver (10) includes a reception unit (13) which receives a broadcast signal from a plurality of channels, a display unit (20) which displays a video corresponding o the broadcast signal, a touch panel (23) which receives a handwritten input by a user, a character recognition unit (24) which recognizes the handwritten input onto the touch panel (23) as a character or a character string, a storage unit (21) which stores a character or a character string specifying each of channels, and a control unit (11) switches the reception channel corresponding to the character or the character string if the character or the character string recognized by the character recognition unit (24) coincides with the character or the character string stored in the storage unit (21) while a video corresponding to the broadcast signal received by the reception unit (13) is displayed on the display unit (20).</p> |
