An adsorbent vessel (1) comprising adsorbent material (4) within the vessel interior (3) positioned above at least one layer of support media (5), and a perforated baffle (7) resting on the support media (5) and not attached to the vessel shell (2) whereby gas flow into the vessel (1) from an inlet nozzle (8) and a lengthwise oriented plenum (6) is more evenly distributed for flow through the adsorbent material (4).
