<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with an image forming unit, in which parallelism and spacing among a photoreceptor drum, an LED print head, a charger, a developing unit and a cleaning device can simply and safely be adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with the photoreceptor drum, the LED print head writing image to the surface of the photoreceptor drum and the image forming part provided with an aligning means maintaining the parallelism and fixed gap between the LED print heads and the photoreceptor drums. In addition, the image forming apparatus is provided with: centering parts installed on both end parts of the photoreceptor drum shafts and rotating with the photoreceptor drums as the rotational centers; LED print head aligning members fixed to the centering parts; a rotational direction determining part to which each centering part is joint and relatively rotating each centering part to decide and to fix the parallelism; and an energizing means having abutting parts on both end parts of the LED print heads engaged to abutting parts of corresponding LED print head aligning member and determining a fixed gap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
