<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for combining speech recognition with near field communication (NFC) to enable a user to enter and use web addresses on portable devices. <P>SOLUTION: The portable device for processing a web content includes an NFC (Near Field Communication) reader, a voice input interface, a speech recognition system and a processor connected to a memory. The NFC reader reads URI (Universal Resource Identifier) input and related keyword from an object having an NFC tag, the memory stores the URI input based on the related keyword, and the voice input interface and the speech recognition system enable the user of the portable device to retrieve the URI input from the memory using the related keyword orally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
