<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which an absorbent is not twisted nor gathered in a bundle shape over the entire length and the absorbent can be tightly attached to the groove of a hip part without bringing discomfort. <P>SOLUTION: The absorbent 4 has the structure of being divided into three in the longitudinal direction, the absorbents 4A-4C are arranged on the upper surface side of a backsheet 2 at intervals in the width direction, and a liquid permeable top sheet 3 is arranged so as to cover the upper surface side. A sheet part A without the presence of the absorbent between the center absorbent 4A and a pair of side absorbents 4B and 4C is folded back to the side of the backsheet 2 along the almost side edge part of the center absorbent 4A and inverted and folded at the almost lower surface position of the center absorbent 4A. Then, a reinforcing sheet 12 is stuck so that the folded part is not spread on the back surface side. In the front side area of the napkin 1, a folded sheet part PL is adhered so that the center absorbent 4A is not raised.
