PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing anionic surfactant powdery particles which are reduced in heat deterioration and contain reduced amounts of impurities such as unreacted alcohol, using a general granulating machine or dryer. SOLUTION: The method for producing anionic surfactant powdery particles comprises the steps of adding an aqueous anionic surfactant solution having anionic surfactant concentration of 0.01-40% by weight into a granulating machine or a dryer having a mixing blade under reduced pressure, followed by granulating and drying.
