PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant capable of improving material characteristics such as mechanical properties of a polymer composition containing a filler and a polymer composition. SOLUTION: The dispersant is a compound having a long-chain alkyl group and a chelate structure obtained by bonding a chelating ligand such as an amino alcohol, an aminocarboxylic acid, or the like to a functional terminal of a functional group-containing long-chain alkyl compound such as a long-chain alkyl carboxylic acid, a long-chain alkyl alcohol, or the like by ester bond or amide bond. The polymer composition contains this dispersant, an organic polymer, and a filler. The content of the dispersant is preferably in a range of 0.1 to 20 pts.wt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
