PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle condition determining device for determining a roll condition of a vehicle based on roll angular acceleration when a tire is gripped for properly determining the roll condition, without having to arrange special sensors. SOLUTION: The vehicle condition determining device is provided with a grip determination means 10 for determining the grip condition of a road surface by tires 91a and 91b, a roll angular acceleration calculation means 20 for calculating the roll angular acceleration of the vehicle 100, and a steering angle detection means 30 for detecting the steering angle. When the grip condition is determined by the grip determination means, roll condition determination is carried out, based on the roll angular acceleration estimated by the roll angular acceleration calculation means and the steering angle detected by the steering angle detection means.
