PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control unit having both of operability that hard operators have and convenience achieved by displaying soft operators corresponding to various kinds of electronic devices on an LCD unit. SOLUTION: The remote control unit is configured to remotely control the plurality of electronic devices using both of the hard operators and the soft operators displayed on a display means. The display means performs display in the order of priorities attached to the control function of a control object electronic device. In such a manner, by preferentially displaying the button of high machine dependence different from hard keys when displaying the function buttons of the control object electronic device on a display screen, it is made possible to switch an operation control device and then perform main control over the operation object device using the entire remote control unit, and the operability is improved.
