PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-speed fuel passage in a carburetor, preventing fuel from being stored in an intake passage by improving low-speed fuel blowout and enhancing low-speed fuel atomization. SOLUTION: This low-speed fuel passage of the carburetor is provided with a bypass passage 37 for communicating the upstream and downstream sides of a throttle valve 5. The bypass passage 37 is composed of: a first passage 37a having an upper end positioned on the valve downstream side of the throttle valve, off-centered in a side direction with respect to the center shaft of the intake passage and opened 38 in the wall surface of the intake passage 3, and a lower end opened in the bottom surface of a carburetor body 2; and a second passage 37b having an upper end opened 39 in the wall surface of the intake passage 3 on the upstream side of the throttle valve 3 and the other end that corresponds to the lower end of the first passage. A pilot outlet is connected to the first passage. Therefore, a low-speed air-fuel mixture blown out from the bypass passage is applied with inertial and forcibly blown out in a swirl state approximately perpendicular to the intake passage, and atomization of low-speed fuel is enhanced.
