摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil supply system for an internal combustion engine, suppressing excess temperature rise of lubricating oil when the engine is operated at a high speed while warming up the internal combustion engine at an early stage. SOLUTION: An oil pan 10 is partitioned into a main chamber 10a and a sub chamber 10b by a partitioning plate 11. The partitioning plate 11 is provided with a pressure valve 30 connected to a supply passage 20 through a communicating pipe 23, that is, to a delivery passage of an oil pump 13 driven by an output shaft 3 of the internal combustion engine. A valve element displaced according to pressure of lubricating oil supplied through the communicating pipe 23 is stored in the inside of the pressure valve 30. This pressure valve 30 intercepts communication between the main chamber 10a and the sub chamber 10b when the rotational speed of the output shaft 3 is lower than a predetermined speed. Meanwhile, the pressure valve performs communication between the main chamber 10a and the sub chamber 10b when the rotational speed of the output shaft 3 is higher than the predetermined speed.
