PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner improving airtightness in a centrifugation part. SOLUTION: One of retaining parts 111 capable of retaining an air-duct forming body 26 onto an upper wall part 37 is provided oppositely to an inlet 84. When a protrusive pipe part 85 of the body 26 is sandwitched between a closed cover body and the part 37 and a joint opening communicates with the inlet 84, the position opposite to the inlet 84 of the body 26 being apart from the part 37 can be prevented, thereby improving the airtightness in the centrifugation part 31 sectioned between the body 26 and the part 37.
