PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vacuum cleaner equipped with dust removing means for removing dust attached inside a dust bag which is provided with a vibrating part of the dust removing means that is not pressurized by the expansion of the dust bag to achieve removing dust effectively. SOLUTION: The dust removing means 27 for removing dust attached on the dust bag is composed of: a sliding lever 37 which periodically slides in connection with a code reel 29 which rotates when drawing out and/or storing power code; a vibration panel 26 which is connected to the sliding lever 37 and periodically operates to vibrate the dust bag; and a holding frame 57 which holds the vibration panel 26 in a rotatable manner and is projected forward than the tip end of the holding frame 57 on the dust bag side when vibrating the vibration panel 26. The vibration of the vibration panel 26 can be securely transferred to the dust bag even in the state that the dust bag is expanded and is in contact with the holding frame 57 to achieve effective removing of dust.
