<p>1288965 Winches SUNFLOWER INVESTMENT CORP SA 5 Sept 1969 [28 Oct 1968] 44142/69 Heading B8B A driven pulley arrangement for handling fishing nets comprises a pulley 10 supported for rotation on side plates 19, 21, either of which may be mounted on a socket 50 permitting swivelling of the pulley relative thereto. The socket 50 includes a lug 52 for connection to a rigid support, and rotationally supports a shaft 36 which is connected through brackets 38, 42 to lugs on the side plate. The lug 42 includes a plurality of apertures 46 to receive one end of the shaft 36 at various angles of inclination to the drum. The side plates 19, 21 include net guides 11, 12 which are inclined towards each other and have a greater radial distance from the drum axis at the leading edge than the trailing edge thereof. The drum comprises two conical members forming a V-groove and covered by a rubber cover 15 having ribs formed thereon to increase adhesion with the net, and is driven by an hydraulic motor mounted on one of the side plates.</p> |
