PURPOSE:To prevent water due to the condensation on the oil tank wall from getting mixed into lubricant by providing a heat pipe in the oil tank, a heat receiving section of said pipe in the lubricant and a heat radiating section of said pipe in the air space in the oil tank. CONSTITUTION:In a bearing device of a Pelton wheel in which a bearing metal 3 that rotatably support the outer circumference of a main shaft 2 is contained in an oil tank 4, and the bearing metal 3 and the outer circumference of the main shaft 2 slidably move in the lubricant in said oil tank 4, a heat receiving section 9a of a heat pipe 9 is disposed in the lubricant in the oil tank 4, and a heat radiating section 9b of the heat pipe 9 in the air space near the wall surface of the oil tank 4, in order to transfer the heat in the lubricant to highten the temperature of the air in the oil tank 4 as well as the temperature of the wall of the oil tank 4. In this manner, the condensation in the oil tank 4 is prevented, and the moisture is prevented from getting mixed into the lubricant. |
