COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING A CATIONIC POLYURETHANE AND A SILICONE, TO BE APPLIED DURING HAIR DRESSING

A cosmetic hair-styling composition is provided to maintain hair-styling for a specific period of time and be easily washed away by shampooing without influencing on hair-fixation. A cosmetic composition in a cosmetically acceptable water-soluble medium comprises: at least one cationic polyurethane including at least one ionic-monomer derived from an olefin-based polymer or a copolymer; and at least one silicone selected from the group consisting of polydialkyl siloxane and organic-modified polysiloxane including at least one functional group of poly(oxyalkylene), amino and alkoxy. A method for hair-styling comprises the steps of: (a) applying the composition onto hair; (b) optionally rinsing-off the hair; and (c) styling and drying the hair.
