A piezoelectric element is disclosed, comprising at least two electrodes having therebetween a high-dielectric layer and a low-dielectric layer, wherein the high-dielectric layer is comprised of an organic material. An ultrasonic probe for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves is also disclosed, comprising the piezoelectric element.
