PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely tightly close inside a container even if the container inside is in a state other than an atmospheric pressure, reduce the manufacturing cost, miniaturize a product size and improve the rice cooking performance. SOLUTION: An inner lid 56 is provided with a hole 181 communicating inside a pot 11 and a shutoff valve 62 for opening/closing the hole 181. A shutoff valve operation means 211, or an operation means of the shutoff valve 62, is provided at a lid body 31. The shutoff valve operation means 211 includes an operation member 212 operating the movable shutoff valve shaft 201 of the shutoff valve 62, and a seal member 217 movable to the operation member 212 and abutting on the shutoff valve shaft 201 of the shutoff valve 62. The shutoff valve is so constituted as to open the hole 181, when the pressure in the pot 11 rises to and above a prescribed value after closing the hole 181 by the operation of the operation member 212.
