PURPOSE: A head lamp for a vehicle is provided to sense a vehicle in the fixed range in the front by using a front sensor like a radar sensor, a ridar, or a camera. CONSTITUTION: A wheel speed sensor(110) detects the velocity of a car based on the rotation speed of a wheel. A front sensor(120) outputs a sensing signal to an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(130) by sensing a target vehicle in the fixed region. The ECU outputs a switching control signal to a power-on switch(162) in response to a lighting signal. A first and second ballasters(140,150) generates a first and a second boosting voltage based on an internal voltage. A relay switch(161) supplies an internal voltage to the first and the second upturn lamp or the first and the second ballaster. A power supply switch applies an internal voltage to the relay switch in response to the switching control signal.
