PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR THE HULL OF SHIP

PURPOSE: A protection device for a hull of a ship is provided to reduce the impact transferred to the side of the ship while berthing using an elastic plate descended in between walls of the side of the hull and the dock. CONSTITUTION: A protection device(20) for a hull of a ship comprises the following: more than one supporting stand installed with a constant intervals on the edge of a deck of the ship; a rotating drum installed on the supporting stand; an elastic plate(26) fixed and reel to the rotating drum. The elastic plate is capable of descending by the rotation of the rotating drum. The supporting stand includes a guide block installed on the lower side to horizontally move along to a rail.
