The method involves producing a peripheral frame (10), and integrating longitudinal fins (12) to the peripheral frame. A chromed part is conferred to front faces of the longitudinal fins. Transverse fins (14) are formed with chromed front faces (26), where structure of the transverse fins is different from that of the peripheral frame and the longitudinal fins. The longitudinal fins are formed perpendicular to the longitudinal fins, and the longitudinal fins and transverse fins are extended through the peripheral frame. The transverse fins are fixed on the longitudinal fins by a fixing unit. An independent claim is also included for a frontage of a bumper of a motor vehicle, comprising an air intake screen.
