BIOMARKER AGAINST FOWL TYPHOID IN CHICKS

PURPOSE: A biomarker for fowl typhoid of chicken is provided to apply antibody to a diagnosis kit and quickly diagnose fowl typhoid and infection thereof. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker for fowl typhoid of chicken is prohibition protein which is specifically expressed by fowl typhoid infecton. A diagnosis kit of strip form contains an antibody which is specifically manufactured to recognize prohibitin protein. A prohibitin gene is positioned on chromosome 17q21 and is a tumor suppression factor which suppresses cell proliferation in breast cancer cell line. The prohibitin protein exists in mitochondria of epithelial cells and cell substrate. The prohibitin protein is isolated from splenic lymhphocytes infected by fowl typhoid. The prohibitin protein is detected using a primer pair(5'-CCTGGGGCTGGCTGTTGC-3', 5'-CGCGCTCATCGTAGTCCTCTCC-3') through PCR.
