PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying an electric program guide and a method thereof are provided to move a selection block of an EPG screen by a screen unit, thereby moving a corresponding block to a desired selection block through screen unit movement. CONSTITUTION: An EPG extracting unit(110) extracts electronic program guide data from a broadcast signal. An EPG analyzer(120) analyzes the extracted EPG data. An EPG display unit(130) displays the analyzed EPG data on an EPG screen according to an EPG output format. The EPG display unit moves the selection block by a screen unit or a block unit according to a determination result of movement selection for the selection block of the EPG screen.
