The device has a container (17) arranged on a support e.g. tag, and filled with a colored liquid that is solidified under an action of gel. The solidified liquid is transformed into a liquid state if a predetermined temperature threshold is attained or exceeded. A flow of the liquid is canalized by an absorbing layer (18). A cavity for collecting the liquid is provided for forming a signal i.e. bar code (19). Information about rising of temperature of the liquid is exploited by a radio frequency identification (RFID) type electronic system.
