METHOD OF CONTROLLING DATA SERVICE USING COMPRESSED MAC HEAD

PURPOSE: A method of controlling a data service using a compressed MAC header is provided to transceive a VoIP packet by a mobile station and a base station. CONSTITUTION: A CMH including the first pointer field is transmitted to a base station. The first pointer field shows that the state of a mobile station is an active mode. A CMH including the second pointer field is transmitted to the base station. The second pointer field shows that the state of the mobile station is an inactive mode. The mobile station transmits a general MAC sub header to the base station.
