PURPOSE: A river bank arranging method using a steel casing retaining wall is provided to implement environmentally-friendly method enlarging the habitat of aquatic organism. CONSTITUTION: A river bank arranging method using a steel casing retaining wall is as follows. A river bank(73) is excavated at the designated gradient to form a cut slope(72). Inner and outer wall casings of a tip part are placed in an installation position at a cut slope or retaining wall needing reclaim. The ground between the inner and outer wall casings of the tip part is excavated and the excavated earth is removed. The inner and outer wall casings of the tip part are lowered to the excavated bottom surface under their weight. Inner and outer wall casings of an intermediate connection part are installed on the top of the inner and outer casings of the tip part and the joints are united. The ground between the inner and outer wall casings of the tip part is excavated and inner and outer wall casing structures are lowered to the excavated bottom surface. The ground between a slope and the retaining walls on both sides of the road is reclaimed using the excavated earth inside the casing structures. |
