The device has a threat detection unit (5) comprising a detection direction (D), and a riposte unit (6) comprising an action direction (R) or plane, where the riposte unit destroys or destabilizes threat. The riposte unit includes elongated shaped explosive blocks (11a, 11b) initiated by priming units (12a, 12b), where the blocks are placed in a same support case (10). The blocks are initiated to generate shockwaves for propagation of a Mach wave along the action direction, where the Mach wave assures destruction or destabilization of the threat.
