PURPOSE: A web viewer server and a control method thereof, and a system for providing a markup page comprising the web viewer server and a control method thereof are provided to minimize a blur of a screen in the web viewer terminal when the screen is enlarged, thereby keeping high screen quality. CONSTITUTION: A markup page providing server(300) offers a markup page. A web viewer terminal(100) displays a markup page made of compressed image data. A web viewer server(200) analyzes the markup page to generate image data. The web viewer server compresses the image data by a loss compression method if support resolution of the web viewer terminal is higher than reference resolution.
