PURPOSE: A rotary vane diesel engine is provided to reduce weight or volume by enabling two or three combustions per rotation according to the number of vanes mounted on a rotor. CONSTITUTION: A rotary vane diesel engine comprises a housing(1), a rotor(3), vane, a sealing device, a combustion chamber(11), a combustion gas valve(12), a gas exhaust port(22), and an air intake port(21). The rotor is contacted with the inside of the housing and is rotated. The vane freely moves inside the rotor. The rotor rotates along the inner surface(2) of the housing, contacted with the inner surface by pneumatic pressure. The sealing device prevents a pressure leak of the combustion gas and the compressed air during compression and expansion processes. The combustion chamber burns the fuel injected by a fuel injection nozzle.
