PURPOSE: A gas insulation switchgear is provided to improve dielectric strength by minimizing melting loss of a chamber of movable side due to hot gas. CONSTITUTION: A driving unit of a circuit breaker for a gas insulation switchgear comprises an operation shaft(110), a movable chamber(120), a main shield(130), and a secondary shield(150). The operation shaft is combined with a movable arc contactor. The operation shaft is connected to an insulation rod. The operation shaft comprises a first discharge hole(113). The movable side chamber comprises a discharge space of a hot gas. The movable chamber comprises a second discharge hole(121). The main shield protects the circumference of a movable chamber and an upper cylinder(140). The secondary shield is included between the movable chamber and the insulation support case. The secondary shield induces the discharged hot gas to backward.
