PURPOSE: A method for inspecting a cam using a cam inspection device is provided to enable a user to inspect a processing state of a spiral groove with the naked eye by rotating a cam. CONSTITUTION: A method for inspecting a cam using a cam inspection device is as follows. A cam is fixed to an installation unit(S100). The position of a ball is initialized(S200). A spiral groove and the ball are contacted by contacting an inspection unit with one side of the installation unit(S300). The cam is rotated(S400). The rotation angle of the ball is sensed(S500), and indicated on a display(S600). The installation unit separates the cam and the ball(S700). The cam is separated from the installation unit(S800).
