PURPOSE: A phase noise cancellation apparatus of a portable terminal using feed forward type and a method for the same are provided to separate phase noise signals generated by high power transmission signals, thereby preventing reception sensitivity degradation of digital TV broadcasting. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal includes a GSM(Global System for Mobile Communications) signal processing block(100), a phase noise cancellation apparatus(200), and a DVB-H receiver(300) of a DVB-H(Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld) signal processing block. A first RF(Radio Frequency) transmission unit transmits a first RF transmission signal through a first antenna. A phase noise detection unit(210) detects phase noise by input and output signals of a power amplifier in a first RF transmitter. A phase noise cancellation unit(220) combines the phase noise with a first RF transmission signal of the power amplifier. The phase noise cancellation unit cancels the phase noise in the first RF transmission signal.
